Hello, my name is Sybil Shelton-Ford and I have been teaching yoga classes, trainings and workshops in the Lansing, MI area for nearly 20 years. I am dedicated to making yoga accessible to everyone! Yoga is a great way to improve your endurance in other physical activities. After a run, or heavy workout, yoga will help your body relax while stretching, strengthening, and lengthening the muscles you were just working on.
Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Focusing on your breath during practice is key to staying in tune with your mind and body.
Gentle - Mondays at 6:30 pm
Intermediate - Wednesdays at 6:30 pm

Mondays at 7:30 pm. Try one of the hottest new trends in fitness. Barre classes combine Pilates, ballet barre, and tried-and-true calisthenic exercises to tone your entire body-especially your abs, hips, and thighs (all of the "problem areas" on most women). This class is low impact and utilizes simple movements, but it is challenging!
I am offering two workshops in January - Yoga Nidra and Yoga for Tight Hips. Both will be offered through Delta Township Parks and Recreation

All you need to bring is a yoga mat, something comfy to wear and an open mind!
My classes are designed to meet the needs of all fitness levels. I offer variations and modifications of all poses so that you may find ease and comfort.
