Yoga is a great way to improve your endurance in other fitness activities. After a run, or heavy workout, yoga will help your body relax while stretching, strengthening, and lengthening the muscles you were just working on.
Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Focusing on your breath during practice is key to staying in tune with your mind and body.
I am so excited to offer a new and exciting class for kids ages 6-12 beginning this September called, Anxious to Awesome !
Everyone experiences feelings of stress and worry at times. When it begins to get in the way of your daily routine, quality of sleep and compromises quality of life, it's time to take action!
In this class kids will learn to relax their body and mind through movement, breath work, mindset exercises, journaling and artful expression. Learn quick and basic techniques that can be used right away to more in-depth practices to support you for life.
Learn how these techniques can help you become empowered by learning to care for your own mental and emotional wellbeing. Learn some science of the mind and become the captain of your own ship. This is a class for elementary aged children 1st - 5th grade. Participants need a yoga mat.
This 6-week program includes the best yoga therapy practices for restoring the body, mind and breath for people living with the effects of "long" c*vid. The movements will be very gentle using a variety of props, including chairs. The breath work will be tailored to your specific needs and the tips and tricks that I will share will soothe your nervous system and calm your mind. In addition to weekly yoga classes, each participant will receive weekly 1:1 coaching sessions to help you create a personal plan for addressing your needs.
